although the summer has been significantly slower than the season, we've still been pretty busy here in the broadcasting department. two weeks ago, we had our annual development camp for Predators prospects. these players have all been drafted by the predators but have yet to reach their goal of playing in the NHL. most are currently playing junior hockey in canada, some are in college, and there are also many who play abroad in europe.
last week, we had a couple of hockey camps going on in the middle tennessee area. brentwood native, blake geoffrion, showed up for a day at camp and helped some kids run through some drills. again... nothing fancy, but a little bit more proud of this one. showed up to the rink and got all the shots myself. i did not do the interviewing, though i would've liked to have tried, i essentially did the rest myself. i think i'm getting more confident in my shot selections and definitely more confident in my editing skills.
